When looking to buy a compact camera such as a the X100 (see my full X100 camera comparison here) I stumbled across some fascinating devices you can still buy used.
I still ended up buying a used X100S but there are some awesome compact cameras which could fit your needs.
One of my main concerns is sensor size. I've marked APS-C size sensor in bold.
